Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Lis Makes.

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase, We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns. The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchase with Us.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

For this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
  • Service refers to the Website.
  • Website refers to Lis Makes, accessible from lismakes.com
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 14 days without giving any reason.

The deadline for canceling an Order is 14 days from the date You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

To exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision using a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Conditions for Returns

For the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days
  • The Goods are in the original packaging

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or personalized.
  • The supply of Goods which, according to their nature, are not suitable to be returned deteriorate rapidly, or where the expiry date is over.
  • The Supply of Goods that are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons was unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

Only regular-priced Goods may be refunded. Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.

Returning Goods

To receive an authorized return, You must contact Us on Our contact page within three days of receiving the Order. If Your return is accepted, We will provide instructions on how and where to send Your Goods. Items returned to Us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that shipping Your Goods may take longer than expected if Your country of residence is not the United States.

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods to the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We cannot issue a refund without receiving the Goods or proof of received return delivery.

Gifts

If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, You’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to You.

If the Goods weren’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the Order shipped to themselves to give it to You later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.

Exceptions & Damages

We will accept returns for refunds and exchanges for damaged items in transit.

Please inspect Your Order upon receipt and contact Us immediately if the Goods are defective or damaged or You received the wrong item so We can evaluate the issue and make it right.

To start an eligible return, Your item must be in the same condition that You received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To receive an authorized return, You must contact Us on Our contact page within three days of receiving the Order. If Your return is accepted, We will provide instructions on how and where to send Your package. Items returned to Us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that shipping Your Goods may take longer than expected if your country of residence is not the United States.

Non-Returnable Items

– Digital Downloadable Items and Customized Products

Certain items cannot be returned, like customized products (special orders or personalized items) and digital products (such as downloaded patterns considered consumed upon payment since the download link is included in the confirmation or order page).

– Hygiene and Safety Reasons

Lis Makes clean all earrings with alcohol before being carefully packed and shipped to Our customers. However, it is essential to note that while We take stringent hygiene measures, We cannot guarantee the items have not come into contact with contaminants during transit or handling. As such, for the safety and hygiene of Our valued customers, We do not accept returns or exchanges for earrings. As a recommended prudent practice, We advise Our customers to clean pierced earrings before wearing them, ensuring hygiene and safety.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We offer Our handmade products in limited quantities, and each item is unique due to the nature of the product; therefore, replacements for the same purchase may not be possible. Exchanges for eligible returns are possible where the prices for replacements are equivalent to or more than the original purchases.

Lost Item

Depending on the shipping options You choose when placing the order, we will assist in filing a claim for missing items in transit for shipping options with tracking and insurance. Please contact the carrier (UPS, USPS, etc.) immediately with the tracking number if You are missing a package that shows “delivered.” For stolen packages, a police report may be needed to facilitate an insurance claim.

Refunds (if applicable)

We will notify You once We have received and inspected your return to let You know whether the refund was approved. If approved, You’ll be automatically refunded using Your original payment method within ten business days. Please remember it can take time for Your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

In the case of a shipping insurance claim for a lost item, You will receive the refund once the carrier approves the claim.

If more than 15 business days have passed since We approved Your return, please contact Us on our contact page.

Shipping

You will be responsible for the shipping costs for returning Your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If You receive a refund, the original shipping fee, whether paid by You or Us (free shipping), will be deducted from Your refund.

Depending on where You live, the time it may take for Your exchanged product to reach You may vary.

If shipping an item over $100, You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that We will receive Your returned item.
